Experience is useful when it changes how you build.
Astronym is a product of Registered Agents Inc, created by people whose work in domain names and Internet engineering spans more than 30 years. We are applying that experience to a new registry platform with a long horizon.
Why Astronym
A clean-sheet platform with a long memory.
Registries sit at an unusual intersection: protocol engineering, public trust, policy, security, compliance, and round-the-clock operations. Doing the work well requires more than assembling technology. It requires understanding how decisions travel through an ecosystem over years.
Astronym starts fresh with a clear view of where Internet infrastructure came from. We are carrying forward hard-earned lessons about compatibility, stewardship, operational discipline, and accountability while building for the registry business Registered Agents Inc intends to grow.
What guides us
Independent thinking. Serious infrastructure.
Think in decades
Domain infrastructure outlives product cycles. We make decisions with compatibility, stewardship, and change over time in view.
Know the whole system
Technology, policy, operations, and business consequences are connected. Strong decisions account for all four.
Earn confidence
We prefer precise claims, visible evidence, and clear limits to confidence that rests on presentation alone.
Where we are now
Building toward evaluation.
Registered Agents Inc has applied to ICANN to be evaluated as a Main Registry Service Provider for the 2026 New gTLD Program. Astronym’s first focus is supporting Registered Agents Inc’s own applications.
Registered Agents Inc is not currently an ICANN-evaluated or listed RSP, and Astronym registry services are not yet available for customer selection.
